Rifle is a town I began building in June of 2011.
Working off of a mac I am not priveleged in EA's eyes to be allowed to learn to make blank maps of my very own via the create-a-world beta tool. Therefore I set out on a long and download heavy journey to find the right blank map to build my town on.
The blank map I finally settled on is Finnington by Armiel
My greatest thanks goes to Armiel for creating such a beautiful and easy to build on map. I am throughly enjoying building my town on this map. All credit and props for the map goes to Armiel.
So with that said, ALL uploads on this blog from the first day (Novemeber 7th, 2011) until I edit this page to reflect the date that I am finally done with Rifle (aka "Finnington) are being placed in my town, Rifle.
All residential lots are 100% built by me, inspired by looking at different design and architecture photos, and different floor plans. I often have an idea in mind prior to looking for inspiration and my design often changes once I begin building.
Some community lots are EA made. I really have no desire to build residential lots however I did do some of them in the town and I decorated all the rabbit hole lots' exteriors.
With all that said, any lots that I didn't build from the ground up (including rabbit holes) will not be uploaded individually but rather will be packaged and come with the town.
My overall goal is to fill the town with custom families and beautiful homes... for the town to flow together but be different enough (with builds and families) to please lots of different types of players.
I am hoping to have the town uploaded and available for download by Spring 2012.
